IKO Training Path
IKO offers the most up-to-date kiteboarding training courses with level progression. IKO has established a training path from entry-level recreational courses to pro courses that offer a range of instructor certifications.
IKO courses are performance based kiteboard programs. At the introductory level, practical knowledge and safety skills are the foundations established. More advanced concepts, kiteboard tricks and instructor training come in later courses when a kiteboarder has progressed through the training path gaining the necessary practical knowledge and experience.

IKO Kiteboard Instructor Courses
Become a part of this exciting new sport as a certified kiteboarding instructor. Action Sports proudly offers Instructor Certification Courses from the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization), the world’s most widely recognized certification. The Five-day IKO ITC courses are available on scheduled dates and pre-registration is required because the course numbers are limited. Prospective kiteboarding instructors should check out the entry requirements for their course because they all have minimum standards. The IKO Course requires IKO Level “N3” skill levels or greater. The courses cover kiteboarding instructional techniques, school management etc. Upon completion of the course, instructors undergo a practical skills International Kiteboarding Organization test and an Instruction test to obtain the Instructor Certification.
